Detailed Instructions to use the BeyondKiosk Internet

Welcome to the  BeyondKiosk  - this Internet kiosk must be always on-line. If it is not on-line, please call us at 305.8670508; we will work as fast as possible to bring it back up.

All you need to do to start using the Internet is to type a web address and click on the left mouse or click on one of the links on the screen.

A window will pop-up telling you if it is necessary to deposit funds to use our Internet service. Some web pages can be visited free of charge, other web sites will require a fee based on the time to be spent while browsing.  This service fee varies from free to US$0.20/minute 

The minimum funds deposit if the kiosk has cash receiver is U$1.00 otherwise you will see a window showing you the minimum cc deposit, usually U$2.00 which you can make by swiping the credit card or typing the credit card information manually, you can preview how many minutes you will be able to use the service with the deposit you choose before you make the final decision, please try to estimate how much time you will need and make the appropriate deposit since the start. You can monitor the time available for the deposited funds by looking at the lower left side of the screen.  It will show the amount of minutes remaining at all times.  Please deposit more funds ahead of time if you plan to use the kiosk for longer that the time showing remaining.  If you run out of time and do not deposit more funds in advance, all the data in the screen will be deleted and all websites closed automatically to prepare the system for the next user with a fresh start.

Press Alt-Tab simultaneously to switch between applications. e.g. to open MSN Messenger. for video-conferencing..
If you want to stop using MSN please minimize it (Do not Close it - Do not click on the X click on the -) that way the next person will be able to use it as well by pressing Alt-Tab simultaneously.
To use programs like MS Word, Excel, Power Point and others click on the icon  Programs above (on the toolbar - on the top portion of the screen) if you have suggestions on programs you would like to use from our kiosks, please do not hesitate to contact us..

If printing is available, the price per page varies from US$0.2 to US$0.5 depending on the type of printer and quality; the system will show the price per page before printing.

Please take some time browsing the free of charge web pages to get yourself familiar with the system, keyboard and mouse before you make a deposit, this way your Internet usage will be more efficient.
